This book is the fourth in the Storm of Emotions series. It is a continuation of a fast paced adventure. The saga continues with; the captain of the Nubian- Egyptian guard Hakim Husani, and The First Maiden Jiao Lan, who is a saucy companion to Lady Kerah. A rival clan storms Cravenshire Keep and the young heir is spirited away through the secret tunnels. The Laird and Lady are captured and separated. Angus finds himself in the MacDonald dungeons and his wife is chained to the foot of a bed. It seems that the situation is utterly hopeless.

My review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the 4th book in the series. I can't get enough of this story line. I wish the books were longer. Kerah and Angus are captured by the ruthless MacDonalds. Jaio Lan and Hakim have protected the heir. I love their budding romance. Hope it all ends well! Now I have to wait for the 5th book!
